NUDE TRIUMPHANT is a collection of animated watercolour nudes celebrating our amazing human bodies and how they express our diverse identities.
The project started in 2013 with a blog by art model Roy Joseph Butler and developed into a multi-award-winning animation, a fine art book, a monthly art night in London, and now a series of rare NFTs, painted and animated by Leo Crane. The project is produced by Figuration and Animate Projects.
Leo’s work has been exhibited widely, featured on national TV in the UK and Brazil, and published in the books ‘Contemporary Figures in Watercolour’ and ‘Portraits for NHS Heroes’. He holds an MA (Distinction) in Animation from Bournemouth University and studied painting under Maggi Hambling CBE.
All proceeds support Figuration, a non-profit social enterprise founded by Roy and Leo. By working with communities, schools and creative industries, we reveal the stories that connect you with the world.
